This award consists of contacting stations from each one of the 19 departments into
which Uruguay is divided.
No mode or band restrictions. It may be endorsed by band and/or mode.
Contacts after January 1^st, 1949 are valid.

33 ORIENTALES

This award consists of contacting 33 different stations from Uruguay in memory of
the 33 men who started the Liberators Crusade in 1825.
No mode or band restrictions. It may be endorsed by band and/or mode.
This award is granted only to foreign stations.
Contacts after January 1^st, 1953 are valid.

ALL CX’s

This award consists of contacting 9 Uruguayan stations having numbers 1 to 9 within their call sign.
Contacts after August 23^rd, 1983 are valid.

‘CEIBO’ AWARD

    This award consists of forming the name of the Uruguayan national flower -ceibo flower- for which purpose
    contact must be made with 5 Uruguayan stations having the letters to form the word CEIBO as the last letter
    of the respective suffixes.

Contacts after January 1^st, 1994 are valid.

GENERAL TERMS

Download the application form cxaward.doc or cxaward.pdf and fill it out with the requested information.

    The schedule listing QSLs must be certified. Such certification must be given by:
        a)    the National Manager of Awards, or
        b)    an IARU recognized Institution, or
        c)    your Radio Club by the signature of 2 authorized officers

Mention should be made that the respective QSL cards have been seen and that the information provided
agrees with the award being sought.

In case that the certification cannot be obtained by either of the above options, the QSLs must be sent with
sufficient additional postage to be returned by post.

The expenses for delivering awards are as follows:

a) Foreign US$ 5.oo, or 3IRC
b) Uruguay $u 50.oo.
